Planning out my Demo-Reel
Today in Portfolio for animation class, I started to work out the ideas for my demo-reel, making low-rez versions of the models I will use for my Previs. I am starting to lock down the duration and the way my demo reel will be, I have a general Idea in my mind, I just don’t know how to fully present it. I have an Idea of how I will accomplish most of the obstacles that will consist of my demo reel… the rest I am currently learning.
It is fairly simple and yet it still feels complex, it will be time costly… which I am concerned about because my family is always hounding on me to spend more time with them. I will just have to explain that I have a commitment to this coarse and to myself to succeed. It’s funny, I feel that this Self Motivated project (Demo-Reel) is a going to be a turning point in my life, one that will help me along the way, or change my path… either way, the more I think about it, the more it will drive me to the brink of insanity.
It’s funny, if you think about it… we as students entering the Industry need these demo-reels to be the best work we could every accomplish compressed into 2 minutes.
